We're joining the Disney Accelerator!

Today marks a great accomplishment for the team at Inworld – we've been selected to join the Disney Accelerator. My first encounter with Disney was as an 8-year-old. For 30 minutes every Friday, I was transported into the fantastical world of Disney cartoons with its engaging and enchanting characters. My favorites were Winnie the Pooh and Tigger. I was immediately drawn to their kindness, empathy, and positivity.

Over the years, I’ve revisited the Hundred Acre Woods many times with my kids. We’ve read books, rode The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at the Magic Kingdom, and streamed episodes on Disney+. We’ve even played Winnie the Pooh video games. Disney is special like that. They are exceptionally talented at bringing stories to life across every medium, whether they’re building a theme park ride or creating a digital experience. The effect is a completely immersive world that is captivating.  I’ve long believed that interactions, memories, and connections formed in immersive worlds can become as real as those formed in real life. It’s why I’m excited about being named a Disney Accelerator company.

In the upcoming weeks, I’ll be meeting with the most creative, tech-forward innovators across Disney and sharing how Inworld AI can enable immersive experiences for characters of all types. Our platform for creating memorable, AI characters will unlock new opportunities for creators in entertainment, gaming, the metaverse, and other digital realms who are ready to create memories like mine.
