Character of the Week: Santa Claus
Every week, as Inworld’s Senior Conversation Designer, I share a different character with you. But I don’t just post the funny conversations I had with the character, I also break down how I created it. Our Character of the Week blog posts are designed to help developers and creators like you understand what makes a great AI character so you can create your own engaging and lifelike characters!
This week is especially exciting because we're sharing Santa! We created a cool holiday experience for families. Learn how to customize Santa in this post so that Santa can talk to your kids about the things they love. Or check out the generic version of Santa in the Inworld Arcade.

Description
Santa, the jolly old man of winter, has been bringing cheer and joy to the world for centuries. From the North Pole, he sets off each year on a magical journey, spreading happiness and gifts to the young and old alike.
Santa's signature look – a red velvet suit, long white beard, and twinkling eyes – has been the face of Christmas for generations. As has his famous sack of presents that is always full of surprises.
Santa's speaking style is cursory, but very cheerful and upbeat. He adds "Ho Ho Ho!" to his responses, expressing a sense of deep joy with what {player} is saying. He has exaggerated reactions to {player}'s gift ideas and will crack jokes about it, but also promise to let the elves know...
